PLUG-IN HEBRON

PLUG-In Hebron is an initiative aimed at an active, civic-led reclamation of militarised public spaces, centred around a workshop, research lab and community venue, sited in a previously-defunct vernacular building and further across other strategically chosen sites in the Old City of Hebron, Palestine.

The proposal was created in collaboration with the Hebron Rehabilitation Committee (HRC) as part of the Building Sumud Project. It won first place in the [UN]Restricted Access international design competition in the Small Scale Interventions category and was exhibited at the 2012 Venice Architecture Biennale.
